if you believe real love shud be just like snow white, you're destined to be unhappy in romance. da problem with believing in fairy tales is dat they:
- are based on illusions,so they're not attainable in reality
- encourage us to try to stay in a relationship at all costs
- fail to prepare us for da ups n downs dat are normal in every relationship
- encourage us to put up with behaviour we shouldn't tolerate
- lead us to let great men slip though our fingers
- encourage us to confuse love n sex-then we spend weeks agonising about why he didn't call
- leave us feeling ripped off when we realise dat love isn't a quick fix
